Myles Turner’s candid reaction to a memorable debut in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks started the season with a 133-120 win over the Washington Wizards at Fiserv Forum. Miles Turner returned with 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists as Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated the class with 37 points and 14 rebounds.
While Turner is sure to put up better stats during his time in Milwaukee, he was understandably thrilled by the Bucks’ arena crowd of over 17,000.
“@FiservForum & @Bucks fans Your energy was DOPE tonight! Preciata Iall my debut special! 🦌 🦌 🦌,” he wrote in the post on Ks.

The Bucks blew the Wizards away from the start. After the first quarter, they opened up a 17-point advantage, and in the second quarter they came back with a 19-point advantage.
Giannis was equally a problem in both halves. He went 16-26 from the field overall and scored 24 of his 37 points in the second half.
Including the Greek Freak, as many as seven Milwaukee players scored in double figures, and Ryan Rollins added nine more off the bench. As for the debut, Turner will no doubt be pleased with the ease with which the unit around him seemed to gel.
For wizards, Former Bucks star Khris Middleton led the way with 23 points while Keyshon George added another 21. Alex Sarr added a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Regardless, the Bucks’ newfound brand of fast-paced basketball in transition seemed to yield immediate results for Doc Rivers. Giannis looked relaxed throughout and also had five assists and one three-pointer on three total attempts from beyond the arc. He only had two turnovers on the night and Rivers will hope the Bucks continue to build from here.
The Bucks looked relaxed shooting from deep and went 18-44 overall after opening the first five minutes 5-6 from three-point range.
