The 2025-26 NBA trade season began when the The Atlanta Hawks have finally ended the Tree Young era by sending the star point guard to the Washington Wizards. Although many significant rumors have swirled since the Young trade, there were no other deals until the weekend before NBA trade deadlinewhich contained a couple of jobs.
First, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls made trades with three teams showing the Cavs sending De’Andre Hunter to the Kings for Keon Ellis and Dennis Schroeder. Then, the The Hawks made another dealsending Whit Krejci to the Portland Trail Blazers for Duop Reath and a pair of second-round picks.
