NBA 2K26 Season 5 adds college-themed content

NBA 2K26 Season 5 The details have arrived, with new college-themed content coming to the game. Overall, NBA 2K26 Season 5 features new content for MiCAREER & MiTEAM players. What’s more, players can expect up to 80 new free rewards distributed across both modes when Season 5 drops. Still, here’s everything we know about the upcoming season.

NBA 2K26 Season 5 brings college-themed content from 16 NCAA Powerhouse schools, including:

1. Arizona
2. Baylor
3. Duke
4. Florida
5. Houston
6. Kansas
7. Kentucky
8. Louisville
9. Michigan
10. Michigan State
11. Ohio State
12. Purdue
13. Texas
14. UCLA
15. UConn
16. UNC

This season will feature specific players from each school’s men’s and women’s teams along with new challenge and themed rewards.

For MiTEAM, every player will receive a college celebration box that includes 5 free agent option packs. These players (who are eligible for five games) will be available on the Market and available for purchase when the new season begins. These boxes represent current college players.

Furthermore, Challenge Games will feature these players in daily Challenge Games. Complete challenges to win the Evolution 94 OVR Diamond version of every player you beat. Then, if you play five games with that player, their OVR jumps to 96. Finally, completing their stat-based requirements catapults them into a 98 OVR Galaxy Opal card.

In total, 41 evolution cards will be available throughout the season.

As for MiPLAIER, the college-themed content doesn’t stop there. From new college jerseys to new college-themed MiCOURT murals, you’ll see these schools featured in your personal career mode. Wear your favorite team’s jersey as we approach March Madness. Furthermore, the developers plan to add select college mascots to the game.

Finally, NBA 2K26 will get five new Community Builds in different positions. Moreover, freely submit your own version of MyPLAIER for a chance to see it in a future update!
