With Knicks coach Mike Brown mentions hanging a banner at Madison Square Gardenstar Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart give their thoughts on it.
While New York is the third team to win the NBA Tournament in a season, the two previous winners in the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks ended up hanging their banners in their arenas.

“The Cup is special … they got the best out of every team,” Towns said after posting 16 points and 11 rebounds in the win. “And to be in a position to say we’ve won and we’re champions, and to wear this stupid Knicks shirt and say being a champion is a humiliation and an honor.”
“So I leave it up to them, but I know that now, in our careers and in our lives, we’re celebrating this tonight, we’re going to take this championship to heart and … it’s time to work on another one,” Towns continued.
