NBA PLAY-OF: Stephen Curri injured as a gold state Beat Minesota
The victory of the golden state warriors against Minnesota Timbervolves in the second round of the NBA playoff is a sour injury to Stephen Curri.
The 37-year-old started before half in the game one of the series after retreating during the warrior 99-88 victories in Minneapolis.
The double MVP was sapped the back of the left leg after the defensive game and initially tried to continue before signals on the bench he was supposed to replace.
Buddy Hippeld, Jimmy Butler and Draimond Green shared freight scoring in the absence of curry, hitting 62 points between them.
Curri is likely to miss the game two (Friday, 9. May, 01:30 BST), because warriors await scan results.
“We definitely plan games in the game that it doesn’t be available for the game, but we still don’t know,” said the trainer of Warrior Steve Kerr.
“With Hrusher, it’s hard to imagine to play.
“I talked to him at half time, she was obviously knocked down. The guys picked him up and playing a great game, but we’re all worried about Steph.
“It’s part of the game. The boys are hurt, move on.”
