NBA run-and-shoot icon Doug Moe has died at 87
Doug Moe died at his home in San Antonio at 87. was published by several American media.
A sharp figure on the NBA bench, the former ABA player-turned-coach left a lasting mark with his high-tempo basketball, offensive freedom and openness.
After passing through Italy and then the ABA in the late sixties, Doug Mo began his reconversion very early on the bench before introducing himself to the general public at the helm Spurs (1976-1980). He led George Gervin’s team to the conference finals in 1979 before being fired the following season.
