New “Air Max 95” Inspiration for Book 1 “Solar Red”
Doc Devin Booker finally revealed to the whole world a brand new one Book 2 ten days ago, Nike continues to promote Book 1published in March 2024 and which has not yet revealed all its secrets.
Nike has already shown a lot of imagination to highlight this first recognizable shoe, by multiplying colors and different materials.
This is the case again with this Book 1 “Air Max 95 Solar Red”, which pays homage to one of Devin Booker’s father’s favorite pairs: the Nike Air Max 95, here with this grey-black kit mixed with subtle touches of red, on one of the notches, but also inside the collar and tongue.
Book 1 “Air Max 95 Solar” will be available at Basket4Ballers next December 4th.
Our verdict on the Nike Book 1
Nike and Devin Booker have succeeded in their bet by making this “Book 1” a dual-use shoe, matching both the codes and the classic design of the “lifestyle” shoe, while guaranteeing impeccable technical characteristics at the basketball level.
Inspired by the Nike Air Force 1, the pair is reworked with a Cushlon 2.0 midsole that provides the dynamics necessary for profiles like Devin Booker. We’d appreciate a little more comfort in the forefoot, but the essentials are there. The fit and support are also up to the market standard.
Book 1 also has a gift side in its DNA that will appeal to the general public. Devin Booker is passionate and this mix of genres sprinkled with his personal touches offers a unique model.
