The last time the Knicks won the NBA Finals were in 1970 and 1973, and Lee was in attendance when the Knicks won the 1970 title.
“In the ’69-70 (season), I was there for Game 7 when I was 13. The last time we won was in 1972-73,” Lee added. “It’s over 50 years. It’s five decades. It’s been a long, long, long, long time. But it’s going to be a joyous day in New York (to win the title). It’s going to happen.”
Brunson and the Knicks will look to extend their winning streak to seven games against the Pacers on Thursday.
