Nike is bringing back Kobe Bryant’s 2004 All-Star sneakers



Long before the NBA legend Kobe Bryant started his iconography signature sneaker line with Nikehe wore several other silhouettes with a brief stint with adidas before joining the Swoosh. One of his favorite models has always been the Nike Huarache 2K4, which returns in 2026 to commemorate Bryant’s 2004. NBA All-Star Game appearance.

The Nike Huarache 2K4 released in 2004 as the latest design from sneaker architect Eric Avar. The shoes were meant to blend both modern and retro concepts, staying relevant all these years leading to an updated edition. Not only did Kobe Bryant favor the model, but greats like Rajon Rondo and Andre Iguodala also frequently rocked the sneaker in the game.

2016 was the last time the Huarache 2K4 was in an extended release, so fans will get to enjoy the classic retro silhouette again after a 10-year wait. This special edition will also honor Bryant and the 2004 NBA All-Star Game, his sixth career selection.

Nike Huarache 2K4 “All-Star”

Coming back White/Game Royal-Sport Red-Metallic Silver, The Kobe Bryant “All-Star” 2K4 colorway will be true to the original releases from 2004 and 2016. This pair will feature Bryant’s “LA” logo on the upper heel, along with the All-Star date the game (February 15, 2004). Based on a red Nike Air Zoom sole, the shoe features blue branding along the heel to accent the white leather upper.

Complete with special packaging and a blue dust bag to match, the Nike Huarache 2K4 “All-Star” is expected to release sometime in February 2026, possibly around the NBA All-Star Game on February 15th in Los Angeles. The shoes will be available in limited quantities through Nike platformsalong with an expected in-person release at All-Star Weekend 2026.
