Nikki Bella’s son makes a wonderful surprise appearance on the podcast
During the filming of the episode The Brie and Nikki Bella Podcast, son of a VVE legend crashed the show, surprising himself on screen.
At one point in the episode, Matteo, Nick’s son, shouted something to his mother. He appeared to be trying to find his landing gear, as Nicky yelled at him, “Honey, I’ll find your landing gear later.
Of course, this answer was not enough for Mateo, who went downstairs to greet his mom and aunt. “Oh, no, honey. Mommy has to work, and Mommy’s pressed for time,” she told her son.
He would continue to hang out with them throughout the episode. At one point he was lying on the couch they were sitting on while Bree brushed his hair. They even let Mateo speak into the microphone.
Niki Bela’s son is from her relationship with her ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev
Matteo is Bella’s only child, and he was born in July 2020. So, in a few months, he will turn six years old. Mateo was born while Bela was with Artem Chigvintsev.
They were engaged at the time of Mateo’s birth. They got engaged in January 2020, just a few months before Matteo was due to be born. Bela and Chigvintsev got married in August 2022, two years after the birth of their son.
Bela and Chigvintsev divorced in September 2024. She filed for divorce after Chigvintsev’s arrest following a domestic violence incident.
It has been since then linked to Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean. Speculation began in December 2025 after Bella posted a picture of herself posing in DeJean’s locker.
Bella is also in the midst of a full-time WWE run on Monday Night RAW. She is feuding with World Women’s Champion Stephanie Walker. Bella turned on Vaquero in November 2025 and unsuccessfully challenged for the title several times.
