Nikola Jokić climbed the triple-double list of all time

The Denver Nuggets keep watching Nikola Jokic accolade after accolade. He even fought a long knee injury against the Chicago Bulls. Now he just climbed the all-time triple-double list.

With 22 points, 17 assists and 14 rebounds, Jokić made the list:

His Nuggets cruised to a 136-120 victory at the United Center on Saturday — improving their record to 34-19.

Former NBA Finals champion Jokic performed his production through 33 minutes of play. He also showed his prowess on the defensive end by blocking four shots, leading Denver there.

Jokic is now considered a global star on the hardwood. He decorated his resume with the award for the most valuable player and the title of the NBA Finals in 2023.

However, his former team-mate surprisingly admitted Jokic.

Michael Porter Jr. won the Larry O’Brien Trophy with Jokić. However, “MPJ” made this astonishing admission while appearing on The Old Man and The Three Podcast.

“At first I didn’t think he was that good, at first I thought Mason Plumlee was better than the Joker,” Porter said in stunning fashion.

Although Porter later heard from another member of the Nuggets how big Jokic really was.

“But I kept hearing, like Monte Morris told me, he said, ‘Man you don’t understand, Joker could score 50 every night if he wanted to.’ “And so I didn’t see it at first in practice, I think he was just, you know Joker, he can just pass and not have to try to dominate all the time,” Porter added.

The two managed to win together — and “The Joker” has continued to rack up milestones ever since.
