Nikola Jokic leaves the Heat game with an apparent leg injury
Nikola Jokic suffered an apparent leg injury during Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat game on Monday night.
The injury happened in the last seconds of the first half. Jokic was in the game as Spencer Jones’ right foot accidentally collided with the star center’s left leg. This ended with Jokic writhing on the hardwood in visible pain before getting up as he limped his way to the locker room.
It’s a scary moment for the Nuggets team because Jokic played well in the first half. He had 21 points, eight assists and five rebounds on 9-of-14 shooting. Denver later found out before the start of the second half that Jokic return questionably with a left knee injury, according to insider Mark Stein.
