Nikola Jokic’s all-time ranking by Kevin Durant will shock you

Even the Houston Rockets are star power forwards Kevin Durant knows incredible the basketball trajectory of Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic. In his book, Jokić has already shown enough to be on the personal list the five best players he has ever seen play the sport.
Durant let everyone know what he thinks about Jokic following him The Rockets beat Denver 115-101 on Saturday at Ball Arena in Denver.
“One of the top ten players, top five players I’ve ever seen play basketball,” Durant said of the Serbian star after the game (h/t Sports Illustrated’s Anthony Duckett).
“I have so much respect for these guys. I just love his game. I love the way he approaches the game. I feel like…a lot of people don’t agree with me right now. But I feel like we have a similar mentality with how we approach the business, just the game itself. I can feel that from afar. So I’ve always respected him.
“And then you achieve what you achieve in this league, you have to respect that.”
While not everyone will agree with Durant’s assessment of Denver’s franchise player, Jokic has the resume to back up KD’s claim. Jokic doesn’t seem like someone who really cares about rankings, but he’s already built an elite body in the NBA and continues to add to it. So far in his time in the league, Jokic has earned seven All-Star honors, seven All-NBA selections, an NBA title and three NBA Most Valuable Player awards.
And he is still only 30 years old.
Through his first 27 games of this campaign, Jokic has averaged 29.4 points, 12.1 rebounds and 10.7 assists while posting an incredibly efficient 66.5 ppg percentage.
