Nikola Jovic suffered a hand injury against the Raptors

Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic appears to have suffered the injury early Monday night in a home game against the visiting Toronto Raptors at the Cassia Center in Miami.
Jović allegedly tried to dunk, but he didn’t have a good landing after the attempt, as noted by ClutchPoints’ Zachary Weinberger.
“The scene after Nikola Jovic lands hard after a dunk attempt. He walks away with his right arm out. Huge ovation for him when he comes out. #HeatNation,” Weinberger shared via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
Jovic was trying to finish the transition strong after receiving a pass from teammate Jaime Jaquez Jr., but he was challenged at the rim by Raptors rookie Colin Murray-Boyles. Jović then fell to the floor with a considerable swing, his right hand firmly touching the ground.
The 22-year-old Jovic immediately writhed in pain as the players gathered to check on him.
After some time, Jović managed to get up and walked alone. He was even seen smiling as he made his way to the dressing room.
