Nikola Vucevic was busted by fans in the middle of a fight against the Nuggets

The The Boston Celtics took a chance on Nikola Vucevic before the trade deadline, sending Anfernee Simmons, who had accepted his role in Beantown, to the Chicago Bulls. Vucevic was meant to bolster a very thin frontcourt for which Neemias Cueta was holding down the fort, and represented a nice change of pace as an offensive option compared to Cueta’s defensive and athletic contributions.

Vucevic was a reliable five, which, on paper, he should have been take the Celtics offense to an even higher level. And the Celtics have been playing well since taking over Vucevic, winning five of their six games with the Montenegrin giants in town heading into Wednesday night’s contest against the Denver Nuggets.

The game against the Nuggets was a great opportunity for Vucevic to prove his worth to the Celtics. However, he tends to raise his game when he goes up against Nikola Jokic. However, Vucevic did the exact opposite, which led to a large clown appearing on his social networks.

Vucevic, as of this writing, has two points on 1-7 shooting from the field in 23 minutes of play, and the Celtics trail the Nuggets by double digits heading into the fourth quarter. And to make matters worse, Jokic has 28 points and controls the game for the Nuggets, which has led fans to point out the shortcomings of the Montenegrin giant.
