Ohio State football gives stud Ohio TD upgrade in state
The Ohio State’s football program is beginning a rebuild for the 2026 season Ohio State is getting a commitment by Ohio State tight end Mason Williams, according to ESPN.
“He’s an experienced tight end who is a skilled blocker and has caught 26 passes for 276 yards this year,” Pete Thamel reported for X, formerly Twitter.
The Ohio State football team finished the season 9-4. Ohio State is coming off a strong non-conference win over West Virginia at home this season. The Bobcats also played Ohio State, but lost that contest.
Ohio State just finished the season in disappointing fashion. After being the top-ranked team in the country for nearly a year, Ohio State lost back-to-back games to end the 2025 campaign. One of those losses was in the Big Ten Championship against Indiana, while the other was in the College Football Playoff against Miami.
On Sunday, he also announced Ohio State wide receiver Mylan Graham entering the transfer portalaccording to On3. Graham had six receptions for 93 yards in 2025.

The Buckeyes open the 2026 season against Ball State. The 2026 schedule also includes a rematch with Texas. Ohio State defeated the Longhorns to open the 2025 season.
