Oregon’s Kenyon Sadick tied the Combine record with a blistering 4.40 40 time

Heading into the 2026 NFL Combine. Oregon’s Kenyon Sadick was considered the best team in the classbut some openly questioned how his athletic testing would affect his final draft status.

Slightly undersized at 6-foot-3, 241 pounds, Sadiq is labeled as athletic freak by Bruce Feldman, and if he does well in that assessment at the Combine, he would theoretically elevate draft boards as organizations search for the next big mobile offensive chess piece. But if he got it wrong, or just looked like an average athlete, he could go from a solid first-round pick to a player firmly destined to hear his name called in his 30s, whether it’s on a Super Bowl team or at the top of the second round.

Fortunately for Oregon fans, Sadiq fell firmly into the former category, running a 4.40 40-yard dash. tied the all-time record at the NFL combine.

A key part of Oregon’s offense as they transitioned from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten, Bay saved his best college season for last in 2025, catching 51 carries for 560 yards and eight touchdownsthe latter of which led all FBS tight ends. Sadik was a beast in the end zone, could line up or in the slot, and even cemented himself as an NFL-caliber blocker, a key feature of his game that talent evaluators will look for when scouting his game.

Where will Sadik leave the board in April? Well, after being mocked solidly in the 20s for most of the winter, it’s safe to assume Sadick will be considered one of the big winners of the 2026 NFL Combine and his draft stock will rise accordingly.
