Pablo Torre slammed Shams for claiming that Terry Rozier was “cleared” of a gambling scandal
News about Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier has been arrested shocked the sports world, but that came after he was said to have been “cleared” of anything Shams Charania’s involvement in the gambling investigationwhich prompted fellow journalist Pablo Torre to react.
Torre took to X, formerly Twitter, to uncover an old video where Charania said Rozier was “cleaned up.” This happened during his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show in June 2025.
“Terry Rozier has been cleared, so far,” Charania said. “He finished the season in Miami, there is nothing active with him at the moment”
Torre then he quoted the video on X, saying, “Previously.” A few minutes later, he followed it with a post claiming Rozier wasn’t “cleared” at all.
“Terry Rozier was never ‘cleared’ by the federal government in this investigation, according to the report (Pablo Torre learns). Neither was Malik Beasley,” he wrote.
