Pacers Legend says playing the 90’s Knicks “Brutal” is not prepared for it

Back during the 90s era of the NBA, one of the most frequent and large Rivalries in the league was between Indiana Pacer and New York Knicks. Knicks, coached legendary Pat Riley at the time, were known after playing physical style basketball. So much, that former pagers of a great man, Antonio Davis admitted not ready for that kind of game.

During the recent episode ‘Legend Salon’, Antonio Davis admitted that he was was not quite ready For the physical style of basketball that the wedges led to their rivalry with Peigrams.

“The first time we played Knicks, it was brutally,” Davis said. “It was brutal, bro. And wasn’t ready for that. The mental, the physical, and had heart about it, everybody talks about pacers, but you’re not ready for that unil you get in it and you play.”
