Pascal I am emerging as a Giannis antetolunmpo alternative for the Warriors
The Golden State Warriors pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo it’s getting murkier by the day, as it looks like the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t too thrilled with the package the Dubs can put together. Drafting the Warriors in the post-Stephen Curry era sounds appealing, but even then, it’s hard to bet on future first-rounders as the main return for someone many consider the greatest player in franchise history.
With other teams, such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, better positioning to trade Antetokounmpo than the Warriors, it looks like Golden State has to look at other options to try to give the team a last-ditch push while Curry is still playing at a high level.
And it looks like their quest he took them to a long, hard look at the Indiana Pacers star Pascal Sakakaccording to ClutchPoints NBA Insider Brett Siegel.
“You keep an eye on what’s going on in Indiana. … And one of the names that keeps coming up in circles with the Warriors is somebody they’ve targeted in the past, Pascal Siakam. That’s a situation I’d just keep an eye on for the Warriors,” Siegel said on Clutch Scoops.

There’s no way the Warriors can get Pascal Siakam from the Pacers, right?

The Pacers know this season is a void after last season’s run to the NBA Finals took a toll on the team, health-wise. Tyrese Halliburton, however, will be back next season, and one would think Indiana would want to keep their core together in preparation for his return – instead opting to add to their core, preferably their starting center for the next few years.
Try as the Warriors might, it would be close to the surprising level of a Luka Doncic trade if the Pacers decided trading Siakam was their best course of action.
