Paul George officially joins the 19,000 point club with a free throw against the Magic

The Philadelphia 76ers are in the middle of a battle with the Orlando Magic on Friday night. However, at the beginning of the competition, Paul George managed to record an impressive career milestone.

While shooting free throws after fouling Orlando, the 35-year-old forward reached 19,000 career points. That’s good for 67th all-time in league history, making him one of the leading scorers for his NBA tenure.

George is in the midst of his 16th season in the league, his second with the 76ers. He is considered one of the best two-way players in the NBA, as his offensive and defensive abilities make him a viable threat on both ends of the court. He owns career averages of 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting a career 43.9% field goal percentage and 38.4% three-point percentage.

The nine-time All-Star will have a chance to continue to climb the all-time scoring list for the rest of the 2025-26 campaign. In addition, he plays a key role in helping Philadelphia stay competitive in the Eastern Conference. The 76ers entered Friday’s game against the Magic with a 20-15 record, which placed them fifth in the conference.
