WHAT TO REMEMBER

Paul George is back. The Sixers winger returned to action for the first time since March 4, 2025. For his return, his time was limited and he was only able to play 21 minutes. If the former Clippers appeared at the start of the match with the first five points of the Sixers, the rest of the match was more complicated. Paul George finished his first game of the season with 9 points on 2/9 shooting, complete with seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

Tyrese Makey’s Heatstroke. Author of twelve points in the first half, Tyrese Maxey accelerated after the break. Although he scored 13 points in the third quarter, it was not enough to give the Sixers the lead back. However, the leader of Philadelphia used this big momentum to find his rhythm and knock out the Clippers. From the beginning of the last act, he made a shot from behind the arc, and then in a “surge” that allowed his team to regain the lead, he made another 3-point shot and then converted 2+1. Finally, he fired a last-ditch long shot late in the game that gave the Sixers a two-possession lead. Enough to allow Philly to win.

James Harden reaches 28,000 career points. James Harden needed just one point to surpass 28,000 career points. It was decided from the beginning of the match and the 2018 MVP became the eleventh player to reach this mark. The next goal? Excess Carmelo Anthony and his 28,289 career points to become the tenth leading scorer in League history.
