Pelicans already in danger?

After two losses, the Pelicans hit rock bottom against the Celtics at home with 32 points. “They fought harder than us. It’s as simple as that”, could only notice Trey Murphy III.

Finding yourself with an 0-3 record isn’t great. But being in this position when we’re about to take off to face the Nuggets, Clippers and Thunder makes us fear the worst. The Pistons certainly made the playoffs last season after going 0-4, but going 0-6, no team has ever been able to avoid April break.

Should we already fear a (new) failed season for New Orleans? It’s too early to tell. However, if three more defeats are added during this “trip”, it may be that Willie Green’s days on the bench are increasing.

Joe Dumars expected changes…

“I’m disappointed with our approach to the match, the lack of firmness on the pitch more than anything else. That’s what’s difficult.”he explained after the loss to Boston. “It’s one thing not to win, it’s another thing to be a little humiliated on your floor. And I’m part of that.”

When arriving as vice president of the franchise, Joe Dumars expected culture change. If the manager accepts yes “success and success are processes”, on the other hand, he insisted on it “The style – resilience, toughness, playing hard, never giving up – that’s what people want to see right away.”

What can Tech do to get his group into the season, other than hope that Zion Williamson (out against Boston) can be on the floor and give himself more chances to win?

“Keep training them, let them understand what we are doing on the field, watch videos, train hard and get good habits”states Willie Green who is more in danger than ever.
