Philly is connected to David Robertson with Jose Alvarado

Philadelphia Phillies nearer Jose Alvarado was recently suspendedAnd he will miss 80 games. It now sets the team in a little sticky situation while they seem to find a replacement. Could be a player already in a system that is ready for a greater role but a lot of people they expect Phillies to go out and bring someone inside.

“I think it will be moved to replace (Alvarado),” said the CEO of NL, according to Mark Feinsand report. “It could be more of a depth associated than you actually find Bona FIDE closer, but somehow it will add back.”

One player to watch is reported, Texas Rangers’ Free Agent David Robertson. Phillies apparently reached him before Suspension Jose Alvarado went public.

“Before the announcement of Suspension Alvarado, the source said that Phillies reached out to David Robertson, easily the best reliever left in the open market,” said outdoors. “No serious conversations took place, said the source, but that would not be a surprise if Phillies considered a gathering with a 40-year-old, who had two previous verses in Philadelphia.”

David Robertson watched the player here, but he was not the only one. Another guy to pay attention to Miami Marlins Anthony Bender.

“Marlins’ Anthony Bender has 1.89 ERAs in 19 performances in this season, earns 1.42 million dollars this season and has two years of control that turn over 2025. Years,” Feinsand wrote. “Miami President Baseball Operation Peter Bendik Decio is Luis Arraez at the beginning of May last year, so he showed a willingness to move players earlier than most clubs could consider.”

There are a good amount of players to make Phillies to cross their current void, but especially the Pittsburgh Pirates Dennis Santani is specially intriguing.

“Pittsburgh’s Dennis Santana (1.96 ERA, 4 savings in 19 performances) falls into the same category, with a salary of 1.4 million dollars and two years of arbitration remaining until free agency,” Feinsand said. “Brian Baker of Orioles has a strong season (2.37 era, 25 shocks in 19 innings) and could be a candidate for sale on Baltimore, which has three years of club controls left for right-handed.”

As you can see, there are currently several good options for Phillies. This is a team with high expectations and they are in the good start of this season. Suspension Jose Alvarado Certainly inserts the key to its plans, and now they need to date and repair them.
