Phoenix gets important injury information for the Clippers game

The Phoenix Suns are set to play the Los Angeles Clippers on the road in a Saturday night game. While LA will being without a player like Kawhi Leonard and Jordan Miller with injury concerns, the Suns have some questions of their own. Dillons Brooks is one of three players on the list team NBA injury report.

While Kobe Brea and CJ Huntley have been ruled out for the G League – for two-way reasons – Brooks is dealing with a core strain and is listed as questionable. Brooks is capable of finding a way to impact a game – for better or for worse – whether he’s available or not. For example, Brooks — who was sidelined with an injury — picked up a technical error during the Suns’ 118-107 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday for arguing with the bench officials.

However, the Suns would prefer Brooks to have an impact in the game. Hopefully it will be available Saturday night, but nothing is guaranteed as of the writing of this story.

The Suns fullback has appeared in just three games so far in the 2025-26 season. In that period, he averaged 19.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.7 steals per outing. Brooks may not be a superstar, but he is a reliable veteran who can help the team win on a nightly basis.

As for Phoenix, the Suns are 4-5 overall in the matchup. Meanwhile, the Clippers are 3-5. Neither team has played particularly well, but a win on Saturday could provide a much-needed boost. Tip-off on Saturday night is set for 10:30pm EST in Los Angeles.
