PJ Washington never returned from his head injury
The Dallas Mavericks suffered the loss of the road one night Cooper Flagg and Kevin Durant went for it. But Dallas was watching too PJ Washington he will not finish the game against the Houston Rockets on Saturday.
Mavericks beat reporter for ClutchPoints Joey Mistretta found out what happened for Washington inside the Toyota Center before Dallas fell 111-107.
“PJ Washington (head injury) will not return for Mavericks-Rockets game, Mavs announced,” Mistreta posted on social media website X, formerly Twitter.
At that moment, Washington collapsed – then he resorted to rubbing his head on the bench.

Washington managed to score nine points in a total of 25 minutes of action. He made four field goals in nine attempts before his NBA injury.
Dallas, PJ Washington struggled against the Rockets

The Mavs couldn’t contain Amen Thompson or bottle his production.
Thompson finished the night with a near triple-double of 21 points, eight rebounds and nine assists in the win over Houston. He even threw down a thunderous dunk with less than two minutes left.
Dallas managed to score four late points, with Flagg and fellow rookie Naji Marshall scoring both, tying the game late with 28.6 seconds left.
Alperen Sengun put Houston ahead with a layup. Flagg fumbled on a drive that would have tied the game and potentially forced overtime. Tarry Eason took a rebound and eventually turned it into a dunk — with Durant on the assist.
Flagg finished the night leading Dallas with 34 points. Daniel Gafford scored 16 to finish second on the Mavs. Brandon Williams (13) and Max Christie (11) became the last to reach double figures for Dallas. Williams left with his own leg injuryhowever, during the game.
