Post-Gregg Popovich, Mike Tomlin is the longest-gather current American main coach

Gregg Popovich deviated. Mike Tomlin moved up.

Popovich is a career leader in NBA coaching victories with 1,422 in the regular season and 1,592 when it is added to the post-season.
