Return to successful floors for Paolo Banchero

Paolo Banchero

After a ten-game absence due to a groin injury, Paolo Banchero returned to the floor for the Florida Derby between the Heat and the Magic, beat Orlando (106-105). With limited playing time, the forward remained discreet as he finished the game with just nine points on 3/8 shooting and six rebounds in 20 minutes of action.

“Honestly, I thought he was good because he just tried to get into a rhythm and find a way to stay in the rhythm of the game by making a simple pass or making the right decision. He let the game come to him.” congratulates his coach Jamal Mosley. He moved well in defense and these will be key elements for the future.

Paolo Banchero finds a Magic team that works well. While the 2023 Rookie of the Year was rehabbing, Orlando won seven of ten games.

Returning to the group with full confidence

I think everyone is playing with a lot of confidence and most of the guys are in rhythm. Paolo Banchero rejoiced on the sidelines of this duel against Vrućin. “We were able to beat good teams, find a positive record and put together good matches one after another.”

Evidence of a group enjoying this “money time” well against the heat, once again, perfectly led by Jamal Mosley’s men. If the trio of Wagner – Suggs – Black provided the attack during the entire meeting, it was that Wendell Carter Jr. which gave the Magic the win in the final moments thanks to two good saves by Norman Powell and Bam Adebayo.

“It was nice to be able to play in front of our fans, to meet my teammates, but above all to win this match.” simply sums up Paolo Banchero after the meeting.
