Rick Ross makes demands, addresses Jaylen Brown over hair controversy

Jailen Brown had better weeks. The Celtics star is struggling with a 4-5 start, roster injuries, and now a scandal that has engulfed NBA social media. After several incidents involving Brown hair dye rubs off on opposing players’ jerseys, Rick Ross has officially entered chat, according to TheSportsRush.
It started innocently enough when Miami rookie Kyshawn George looked down mid-game to find a black stain on his white jersey. The same thing happened to Knicks forward OG Anunoby earlier in the season. Both stains, fans quickly realized, came from Brown’s spray-on hairline, which struggles to stay intact during games.
Since switching back from braids to a haircut, Brown has been experimenting with products to maintain a clean look. Unfortunately, his hairspray of choice seems to convey more than style. And that’s where Rick Ross decided to step in.

“Stop the madness,” says Ross – then makes a business proposal
In a video shared on social media, Ross, sitting in his barber’s chair, issued a playful but pointed message. “Jaylen Brown. Hey. It’s time for the madness to end,” Ross said. “Whoever your barber is, tell him to stop. Chill with the hair follicles. You’re spraying the other man’s hair over there and playing ball. It’s causing trauma. Let’s stop the madness.”
But Ross didn’t just roast Brown. He offered a business proposal. “Jaylen, you and I could do a paint company,” Ross continued. “Let’s just make a paint company and hit the streets. You’re playing ball, that’s your third victim this week. We’re rocking with you, but stop the madness.”
The Miami rapper’s comments came after fans noticed that Brown’s hair coloring mistakes were quickly spreading online. Even the Celtics broadcasters joked about it on the air. Brown, seemingly unconcerned, posted on X after the latest incident with George, writing: βThe AI ββis getting out of control.
It was a sarcastic nod to the internet’s obsession with his hair, but it also showed he was aware of the spectacle going on. Still, with Jayson Tatum on the sidelines, Jaylen Brown doesn’t exactly have time for a midseason trip to Turkey for a hair transplant fix. For now, he’ll just have to keep the paint off his defenders.
