Russell Westbrook overtakes Magic Johnson!
Against the Mavericks, Russell Westbrook had a solid start to the match, especially on the pass. In less than three minutes, he already registered three assists, including one for Keon Ellis. It’s not time to retire yet
At the age of 37, Russell Westbrook is in the twilight of his career, but the leader is not thinking about hanging up his sneakers just yet as he plays his 18th career season. After four complicated workouts in which he experienced three different teams and while he did not have a club before the start of this regular season, the former Nuggets is finding color in Sacramento.
“I take things day by day,” Russell Westbrook added. “I make sure I take care of my body to be able to play at a high level and I will continue to do so until I have enough.”
If the sporting ambitions of the Kings are limited due to this failed start (8 wins – 23 losses), Russell Westbrook, for his part, can continue to write his name in the NBA history books. He needs only 52 points to exceed 26,710 unitsOscar Robertson and become the most prolific point guard in his career. A record that should be stolen from him Stephen Curry as the Warriors star has 26,011 points under his belt.
