Russell Westbrook passed another NBA legend in the Grizzlies game



Russell Westbrook is going winless in a bunch of games with the Sacramento Kingsbut it is it won’t stop him from adding more numbers. The former NBA MVP climbed another spot on the all-time list on Wednesday, passing the legendary Hakeem Olajuwon on the league’s career scoring list.

Westbrook passed that milestone early, as he entered the contest with 26,944 points and needs just three points to surpass Olajiwon (26,946 points).

Just two minutes into the first period, Westbrook converted a 3-pointer off an assist from DeMar DeRozan to surpass Olajuwon, who last played in the NBA during the 2001-02 season with the Toronto Raptors.
