Russell Westbrook wildly ghosts his career in LA

Russell Westbrook recently signed a one-year contract worth just over $3.6 million with the Sacramento Kings. On Friday, he attended a preseason game between the Kings and Los Angeles Lakers and met some young fans who wanted his autograph.
The 36-year-old defender approached the young fans who held up the jerseys of the various teams he played for during his career. Westbrook signed all the jerseys, except for The Lakers ones, because he seemingly skipped over them before going about his day.
Russell Westbrook played with the Lakers for the entire 2021-22 season before being traded to the Utah Jazz for the 2022-23 campaign. However, the Jazz bought out his contract, making him a free agent, and he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers later that season.
He played a total of 130 games for the Lakers. During his time with the franchise, Russell Westbrook averaged 17.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game while shooting 43.4% from the field and 29.7% from the three-point line.
His time with the Lakers was met with controversy, as the 2017 MVP didn’t seem like a good fit in the scheme. Since then, Westbrook has been playing pretty well off the bench. He was the sixth man for the Clippers for a season and a half before most recently playing the same role for the Denver Nuggets.
Russell Westbrook is coming in now his 18th year in the NBA. He will make his 2025-26 season debut for the Kings on Oct. 22 when Sacramento plays the Phoenix Suns in the season opener.
