Sam Darnold’s candid look at Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl show

Bad Bunny continues to make headlines these days as he won a major award at the Grammy Awards and it was planned perform at halftime of the Super Bowl LKS show on Sunday at Levy Stadium. Even Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold he wants a piece of Bad Bunny.

While the casting of Bad Bunny, or Benito Antonio Ocasio in real life, initially raised eyebrows, it seems more and more fans have grown to embrace the popular rapper.

Among them is Darnold, who expressed his admiration for an award-winning artist from Puerto Rico.

“Amazing. I love his music. It’s great to have him perform at the Super Bowl,” the 28-year-old said at the press conference.

“I wish I could have seen it, but I’m afraid I’ll be getting ready for the second half at that point. But I know a lot of people are excited about his performance.”

Bud Bunny won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Sunday for Debi TiRAR MaS FOTOS—the first Spanish-language album to win the award—a perfect precursor to his halftime performance on soccer’s biggest stage. It also won Record of the Year for “DtMF”.

To recall, Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance at LIX’s Super Bowl drew rave reviews, especially his performance of “Not Like Us,” his Drake diss track.

Although Bad Bunny disagrees with his fellow rapper, he has gained attention for his views against the government’s crackdown on immigration.

As for Darnold, as he noted, he has more important things to think about. His matchup with New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye will be the main story of Super Bowl LX as the Seahawks look to be en fuego and back on top of the NFL on Sunday.
