Seth Rollins Shares Disappointing Update on ‘Rest Mode’ Injury Return.
VVE star Seth Rollins opened up about his long-awaited return to the ring.
Earlier this year in Crown Jewel 2025, WWE’s Seth Rollins suffered a brutal shoulder injury after his match against Cody Rhodes. Soon after, Rollins suffered as well issued by Visioneffectively excluding him from his faction. Now on the mend and on the mend, Rollins recently opened up about his comeback.
In conversation with Bert Kreischer about Something Worse, Rollins dealt with his potential return. He revealed that he may currently be in “full rest mode” before he begins training for his comeback.
“It will probably be gradual. I don’t even know,” he said. “My guess is eight to 12 weeks of, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like a dick.’ Probably 12 weeks. Plus, we’ll be on our way WrestleMania season. Hopefully sometime around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start being like, ‘Lock yourself up. No more BS.’
“Probably after the Super Bowl and stuff. Give yourself a month before I come back. I don’t even know. They say six months, so this could be April,” he continued.
Despite his time off from WWE Television, Rollins is currently busy making NFL media appearances. It will also be part of NFL Christmas on Netflix.

Earlier this year, in a conversation with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson, Seth Rollins opened up the idea of his retirement.
“The nice thing about our industry is that it’s fun, so you can do this a little longer than your body will allow,” he said, continuing, “The older you are, the smarter you are and the more fair you are with our audience, so you get a little more time, I think.”
Still in his late 30s, Rollins wants to extend his career a few more years, though he’s also open to the idea of spending time with his daughter and family.
