Shak ‘fool’ at Jailen Brown for fake hair dye

Many expected him to fight, but Boston Celtics they are doing relatively well in their transition period. The main reason? Jailen Brown.

Brown put the Celtics on his back in Jayson Tatum’s absence, and his solid all-around game has helped them keep up with the rest of the Eastern Conference teams.

The Celtics beat the Memphis Grizzlies, 131-95, at TD Garden on Wednesday, and Brown had 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting, six rebounds and six assists. With the affair unsettled, the veteran winger didn’t have to carry a big score. They improved it to 6-7.

29 year old Brown, however, also deals with a dark controversy. Well, sort of. He was mocked on social media for his fake hairline. Several players are already branded with his black, including OG Anunoby of the New York Knicks and Ron Holland II of the Detroit Pistons.

The latest victim was Keeshon George of the Washington Wizards, and Shaquille O’Neal made sure to turn it on once more on the latest edition from “Shaktin’ a Fool.”

“Biggen Brown has to be stopped,” O’Neal said, referring to the brand of hair dye.

Brown is definitely aware of this, as he even made fun of himself after recently seeking advice (or was he just pretending?) from Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James on what to do with his fake hair.

“I blame Boston. Ten years of media, stress, championships. It’s your fault,” Brown joked in October.

Maybe he can ask O’Neal, who played for the Celtics from 2010-2011, for advice on going bald.
