Snoop Dogg’s reaction to Steve Kerr’s ouster goes viral

During the match between Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers, legendary rapper Snoop Dogg was on the comment, and he reacted to the controversial firing of head coach Steve Kerr.

In the fourth quarter of the game, Kerr was ejected after challenging a missed goalie call on a Gary Payton II layup. He was seen jumping up and down on the sideline, yelling before being ejected with two technical fouls.

Snoop Dogg commented at the time, and his response was as awkward as you can imagine. He kept reminding Kerr where he was, which was in Inglewood, California.

“Back him up, back him up, GP (Gary Payton II), back him up! Steve’s ready to shoot him!” Snoop Dogg exclaimed. “Steve is back in Inglewood now. Inglewood! Get him, Steve! You’re in Inglewood, Steve!

“Arizona Wildcat is out – check him out!” he continued, before starting to let out a growl.

After the game, Brian Forte explained what Kerr said to cause his expulsion. “For the first technical foul, Coach Kerr aggressively approached the referee yelling profanities. After the first technical foul was called, he continued to yell profanities while the assistant coach restrained him. And it led to the second technical foul,” he explained.

At the time of his ejection, Kerr’s Warriors were down by seven points with less than eight minutes remaining. The Warriors rallied to make it a one-point game. Jimmy Butler had a chance to win it as time expired but missed.

With the loss, the Warriors fell to 19-18 on the season. With the latest victory, the Clippers improved their record to 13-22 on the season.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points. Butler also scored 24 points and had a team-high six rebounds. Draymond Green led the team with 12 assists.
