“Aw Buzzer”, Russell Westbrook won a minimum salary contract for the upcoming season, and as it has been rumored since this summer, he will play his 18th season in the NBA with the Kings. 18 as his new number, i MVP 2017 he knows that his every arrival in the formation causes people to talk. Especially since there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding this upcoming Sacramento season.
“To be honest, it’s always been that way throughout my career,” recognizes. “There’s nothing new, unfortunately. I’m grateful and even a little privileged to have to face the doubt, the questions about whether I can still play. I know what I’m capable of when I get the chance. So when the season starts, I’m going to do what I’ve always done: I’m going to fight. Some will love it, some will hate it. This is my last year in my life. I had something to prove, and it won’t leave me until I stop I’m playing.
