Spencer Jones has the LinkedIn aura of a farm moment after the 76ers upset

The Denver Nuggets they’ve needed unsung heroes to step up lately due to Nikola Jokic’s injury problems. But throughout the season, a two-way player Spencer Jones answered the call. With Christian Brown missing most of the season with an ankle injury, Jones established himself as the starter for the 24-12 Nuggets. Even with Brown and Aaron Gordon recently returning to action, the 24-year-old wing should remain in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future due to Cam Johnson’s knee injury.

Jones’ production didn’t jump from the sidelines in the Nuggets’ stunning 125-124 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. Still, head coach David Adelman clearly believes in him. He played 43 minutes in their overtime win, and, much like Jalen Picketthe also wants to perpetuate the crazies beating seven rotation players.

A Nuggets wing, actually published his introspective thoughts on LinkedIn to further move with the 76ers after that crazy win.

Jones proves to be a true Stanford alum in the way he has incorporated the corporate tech culture into his daily life. After all, who else would write post like this after an NBA win?

Jones, a two-way player, only has a limited number of NBA games remaining under his current contract. The Nuggets must convert his contract to standard, though they will run into the luxury tax if they do so without other roster changes.

It’s clear the Nuggets will keep Jones around for the foreseeable future, though it remains to be seen who will be let go in the process. Hunter Tyson appears to be the most likely victim of this upcoming Nuggets move.
