Spurs vs. Knicks NBA Cup Final injury report mostly clean
The San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks will play in the NBA Cup finals on Tuesday night in Las Vegas. Both teams will be almost at full health, ace only three players are listed on NBA injury report between the Spurs and the Knicks.
For San Antonio, Kyle Mangas is the only player to report an injury. He is listed as a two-way G League player.
Meanwhile, New York has two players battling injuries. Myles McBride and Landry Shamet are both out, McBride dealing with a sprained left ankle and Shamet with a sprained right shoulder.
All of the team’s stars are expected to be available. Victor Wembanyama recently returned from injuryand the fact that he is not listed on the injury report is promising to say the least.
The Spurs upset the best team in the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in the semifinals of the NBA Cup, winning 111-109 on Saturday. Wembanyama’s return from injury no doubt helped matters as the Spurs clinched a spot in the NBA Cup championship.
As for the Knicks, New York beat the Orlando Magic 132-120 in the semifinals on Saturday. New York was among the favorites to reach the NBA Cup Finals, and the team eventually earned its spot in the championship.
Projects Tuesday night games to be competitive. Both teams are more than capable of playing well in the big time, and all eyes will be on the Knicks and Spurs in Las Vegas.
Tip-off for the contest is scheduled for 8:30 PM EST.
