Stacey King’s Doc Rivers impression will leave you in stitches

Ex Chicago Bulls player-turned-broadcaster Stacey King knows how to get a laugh. Once, he wronged his former teammate Bill Cartwright for former President Barack Obama.
Recently, King decided to sneer at the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks Doc Rivers during the Bulls’ preseason game against the Bucks last week. He impersonated Rivers using the deep, husky air voice that Rivers is known for.
As one might imagine, it got a lot of laughs. For many, King will forever be remembered for being a member of the Bulls’ first threes (1991-1993). Those teams included Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, BJ Armstrong and John Paxson.
Additionally, King joked that he contributed to a 70-point game during his rookie year in 1990. In fact, Michael Jordan scored 69 points and King scored one.
Since then, King has become a popular Bulls broadcaster for the Chicago Sports Network and host of the Gimme the Hot Sauce podcast. He occasionally returns to his past to analyze the present.
For example, the King compared to Derrick Rose in his prime Michael Jordan. Meanwhile, Rivers played 13 seasons from 1983 to 1996. Since then, he has become a successful coach, including an NBA title with the Boston Celtics in 2008.
Doc Rivers’ struggles with the Bulls
During his playing days, Rivers had a heated matchup with the Jordan-led Bulls. That was when he played for the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs.
His first game against the Bulls came in the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals. He joined John Starks, Patrick Ewing and Charles Oakley to take a 2-0 series lead as Jordan came under fire for gambling allegations.
A major factor was Rivers and company using pressure defense, especially on Jordan. Also, Rivers is from Chicago and grew up a big fan former player Bob Love.
