The Pistons won their 10th straight last night by dominating the Pacers, the last in the NBA, a few months after reaching the Finals. Still, without Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris and Auzar Thompson, Detroit is on its longest winning streak since the 2007-2008 season.

Leader of the Eastern ConferenceDetroit widened the gap in the second quarter thanks to a 20-4 run, to quickly take a 20-plus point lead and eventually win 127-112. Jalen Duren shone for the comeback with 31 points, while Dennis Jenkins added 26. The bench’s contribution was crucial, especially with 20 points from Javonte Green.
The Pacers continue to sink with this eighth straight loss, and they still haven’t won a single game on the road this season. Pascal Siakam (29 points) and Benedikt Maturin (25 points) swim…

For their part, the Raptors picked up their eighth win in nine games by defeating the Hornets 110-108, thanks to RJ Barrett’s game-winning basket with 18 seconds left. Toronto’s defense then sealed the victory thanks to two “stops”: Brandon Ingram blocked Ryan Kalkbrenner from behind, and then Scotty Barnes blocked Colin Sexton’s buzzer-beating attempt.

Strong on defense, Ingram led the Raptors with 27 points, while Barnes and Barrett each added 16 points. Immanuel Quickley signs a nice double-double: 15 points and 10 rebounds. On the Hornets side, Kon Knuepel scored 24 points, Miles Bridges 22 and LaMelo Ball 20 in his return from injury.
