Stefon Diggs admits New England lost to a “good ** team” in Super Bowl LX

The The New England Patriots lost to the Seattle Seahawks 29-13 in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium, and wide receiver Stefon Diggs was quick to give credit where it was due.

Diggs’ lack of production contrasted with his impact in the regular season. In his first year with the Patriots, Diggs led the team with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns. The Super Bowl was his fifth straight game with fewer than 50 receiving yards, and he managed just one touchdown in that span. Against Seattle, other Patriots receivers like Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas and Kaishon Boutte were more involved, while the Seahawks’ ability to pressure Maye largely neutralized Diggs.

Diggs’ future in Foxborough is now the main story of the offseason. He signed a three-year, $63.5 million deal last offseason, with guaranteed money restricted after 2025 and cap figures that skyrocket in 2026 and 2027. The Patriots could save more than $20 million in cap space after June 1, according to Over the Cap , and even more via trade, according to Spotrac . Diggs, however, said after Sunday’s loss that he wants to return for his 12th season in New England
