Stephen A. Smith is back to attacking LeBron James

The NBA season is set to start in just one day, and the drama surrounding the league is still ongoing. Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James had a public falling out last season, and the ESPN personality doesn’t seem to be over it yet. After going to The Pivot to talk about the situation, Smith left at 7pm in Brooklyn let me repeat one thing: doesn’t like James.

“I don’t like his…, not one bit,” Smith said. “You don’t understand what this man will go to. This goes back over a decade. I believe he’s one way public and another private. He may not be interviewed and he may not be quoted, but the things he says and the things he’s said to people come back to me. The things he tried to do when he was in the low place where I am today.”

Smith continued in the clip and said he felt like he was set up that day James walked up to him during the Knicks and Lakers game when you watch the video.

“The last straw wasn’t when he reeled me in on the court,” Smith said. “If I sat up and said, ‘Hey, LeBron’s mad, he needs to talk to you man,’ and I was in New York. What would I do? I’ll be on a plane. And then you turn around and come on ESPN with Pat McAfee. You’re going to come on my channel, on the show that goes after me?

James looks like he’s done talking about the situation, but Smith still has something to get off his chest. It will be interesting to see if these two paths cross during the season, and if they do, what happens.
