Stephen Curry is out with an injury
Stephen Curry was forced to leave game against the Pistons at “halftime” of the second half because of pain in his right knee. The author of 23 points in 25 minutes, the All-Star point guard hit an off-balance layup midway through the third quarter, but after the call he started grimacing and limping, feeling discomfort in his right knee.
Seconds later he left the match, meeting briefly with the medical staff before limping back to the locker room. After the meeting, Stephen Curry did not speak to the press, but Steve Kerr was delivered his news. « I think it’s good. I don’t think it’s anything serious, but we will have information on Saturday. It has been bothering him for some time…”
This is not a new problem for Stephen Curry as his right knee has been bothering him for a week. It all started during practice before the game in Minnesota. The medical staff then talked about patellofemoral inflammation.
After the first meeting against partner Anthony Edwards, the Warriors rested him for the second round but cleared him to play Wednesday at Utah and then Friday at home against the Pistons.
The good news: The Warriors have three days off before they resume Tuesday at home against the Sixers.
