Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler clowned hard on the bench

On Tuesday evening, The Golden State Warriors picked up a much-needed 119-97 home win over the Portland Trail Blazers, shaking off a recent ugly loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The Warriors scored only 23 points in total Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler two days after they combined for 61 against Atlanta, but the team was still able to get productive offensive output thanks to a balanced scoreline.

The Warriors were down by double digits for most of this game, allowing head coach Steve Kerr to pull starters early, and as the run of trouble wore on, Curry and Butler could be seen clowning around on the bench.

At one point, Curry used a timeout to practice some dance moveson 95.7 The Game on X, formerly Twitter.

Then Curry and Butler could be seen laughing with each other.

All in all, the Warriors could certainly use an injection of good vibes in what has been an inconsistent 2025-26 season thus far. Golden State is currently 22-19 and in playoff territory in the Western Conference, which would mark their third straight year to finish in that position if they stay.

Curry and Butler have been mostly productive down the stretch, but the Warriors have seen regression from other key players on their roster, including Brandin Podziesmki, Quentin Post and others.

All of those struggles have led some to wonder if Golden State could trade, and players like Michael Porter Jr. have been floated as potential win-win figures who could help the team climb the Western Conference standings.

Either way, the Warriors should next take the floor Thursday night for a tough home game against the New York Knicks. Tipoff for that game is set for 10:00 PM ET from the Bay Area.
