Stephen Curry reaches new heights after milestone against Jazz

Stephen Curry is back in action for the Golden State Warriors against the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center on Wednesday after sitting out the previous game with a knee injury.

Without Curry, the Warriors were defeated by the Minnesota Timberwolves, 108-83, at Target Center on Monday. Golden State also played without Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, Al Horford and Jonathan Cummings.

Unfortunately for the Jazz, the 37-year-old Curry was in good shape. His first bucket was a 3-pointer, surpassing NBA legend Paul Pierce for 19th place on the all-time list, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.

It was fitting that the two-time MVP climbed the ladder on a shot from behind the arc.

The Warriors outscored the Jazz, 34-24, in the first quarter, and Curry contributed eight points to extend his career total to 26,405 points and counting.
