Stephen Curry received the GOAT microphone from Kevin Garnett

As it is The Golden State Warriors are led by star Stephen Curry For more than a decade now, there’s no denying the impact the guard has had on the majestic landscape of the NBA. Leading warriors in their dynasty to four championships, Curry has reached the status of “Greatest of All Time” (GOAT) by some in the basketball world, and the latter has marked him as Kevin Garnett.

Usually the GOAT conversation in basketball is always between Michael Jordan and LeBron James, but Garnett is throwing Curry’s name in the hat as well. When he talks about the influx of young players in the NBA who all promise the future, he calls it the “Curry Era,” saying that “he is the CAPRICORN of this era.”

“I think all the young stars in our league are starting to come into their own,” Garnett told his co-host, Paul Pierce, on their podcast, “The Ticket and the Truth with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce” on Tuesday. “I’ve said this countless times. I think we’re in the Curry era. He’s the GOAT of this era. When we talk about the long ball and the three-pointer, you’ve got to talk about the messiah of the long ball, you know, and that’s how I look at it.”

“So in this era right here, I’m looking at … those twins, (Amen and Asaur Thompson), we haven’t seen them come out of the no … you know what I’m saying. We have stars that are just blossoming out of this league. Look at Cade Cunningham. Cade Cunningham, (Detroit’s number one team) is the East Pistons.”

Garnett no doubt praised Curry because, in addition to being an inspiration to many in the NBA, he has more than left his mark on the game of basketball.
