Fans now know that the 2024-25 Rookie of the Year will miss the remainder of the competition. With the NBA All-Star break starting on Feb. 13, the Spurs may want to keep Castle out of Wednesday’s game against the Golden State Warriors, even if he is able to play.

Let’s hope the former top five pick is healthy after the regular season break. He raises the ceiling of San Antonio to impressive heights.

Fortunately, the Spurs handled the Lakers admirably without him. Victor Wembanyama torched Los Angeles for 40 points in 26 minutes of action, leading the team to its fifth straight victory. However, San Antonio will certainly need Castle in the long run.

He will look to recover quickly and resume his all-round role at Spurs.
