Still too much waste for Kevin Porter Jr.

With 14 losses in the last 18 matches, c Bucks they are located in the middle of the black strip. In two weeks, they won only one match, against the sicker Pacers, currently with seven losses in a row. The last loss to the Grizzlies was marked by 22 turnovers and some 3-point clumsiness (14/39), saved only by AJ Green 6/11.

“I wouldn’t say we were off the mark. We shoot with confidence. Every shot I take, I feel good. I don’t take open shots anymore, I always have a defender in front of me, but my shots are good, they just don’t go in.”, say Kevin Porter Jr.

The leader is the best symbol of this observation, with 16 points on 4/15 shooting including 1/7 from behind the arc, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and also 7 turnovers. Returning from the locker room after the break, he made a series of failures, on the shot, but also wasted several minutes of possession. Kevin Porter Jr. was not in his match.

This is the fifth game in December for the former Houston player with at least 6 turnovers under his belt. He is averaging 3.6 turnovers this season…

“I’m going too fast and I’m not on the same wavelength as my teammates. But that’s easy to fix, I just have to slow down a little bit and let the guys position themselves.”he assures. “Sometimes I see things in front of them, except then the spacing isn’t good. I have to make sure the spacing is good when I have the ball in my hands.”

Finding the skill will also be essential as he has missed ten shots on three occasions in his last five matches. There is too much waste in his game.

“I used to be the team’s first option and this is only my 11th game since I came back, so I’m not worried. I won’t lose that many balls all season.”he assures, while this Saturday night should have Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek is expected, he points out The Athleticafter almost four weeks of absence.
