Super League Basketball to sue British basketball federation for abuse of your position
SUPER LEAGUE Basketball says that legal action began against the British basketball Federation (BBF), accusing the management body of abuse of its position and violation of the Law on Competition in the UK.
The SLB says it undermines the decision of the BBF to refuse to regulate the body’s certificate (GBES) – a condition that requires a gender that requires a visa that does not accept a one-year contract that does not accept a year.
The SLB says that the decision is designed to put their clubs on “competitive lack of any favors of the BBF” and can be a violation of the Code of Great Britain’s government.
Organizations were controversial about the BBF decision to end the temporary job with the SLB and instead consents 15-year-end contract With GBB League Ltd (GBBL) to launch a male professional league from the 2026-27 season.
The SLB says the BBF has since admitted that he did not need a work permit and should only be recognized as a league.
It added no problem with another Licen license, but wants to operate “without illegal injury”.
The SLB was awarded a temporary three-year license last July to replace the British basketball league, which collapsed in the middle of financial problems.
But in April, the BBF agreed with GBBL, saying that the SLB has chosen not to offer that the long-term license activated the clause to terminate the temporary agreement at the end of the season in the amount of 2024-25.
The SLB disputed that view, saying that he withdrew from the tender procedure after “concerned due to the legality of the BBF’s actions” and that its nine clubs will refuse to join.
The BBC Sport contacted BBF for comment.
